Complicated

You’re complicated, you’ve been through a lot. You’re jaded, like me. Is that why we get along? Because our hearts are unrecognizably shattered. We’re both immune to pain and loss. Our expectations no higher than the ground. It hurts too much to love, so we just press our beating hearts together and stare into each other’s eyes. All out of tears, we cannot cry. Let’s take each other to the sky.
